untitled - unfinished?

The golden sky
will only cry
when you break her heart.

The lips of trees
carry on them a disease
meant only for you.

Once upon a sunrise
she looked into your eyes
and brought you back.

Forged - unfinished

Empty eyes are forever watching
wilting leaves on the trees of truth.
Where promises are keys to locks
that never should be opened.
I forge myself.
Weighing down the sands of time under my heal,
cutting.
The glass of truth shatters underfoot.
Clipping wings from all the angels clouding my playground.
I peer through. Shard after shard in search of her.
Squinting in failure.
The heat from my fire sleeps.
The heart in my chest weeps.
And a memory is all my head keeps.

Winds carry the dust of words in every direction but mine.

4 A.M.

Why are your knees not interlocked with my arms.
Your kiss not swallowing me
Your hips not reaching for planets that shine in the night but have long been dead.
Your hungry flesh isn't pulling at my fingertips to unmask it's desire to be punished.
Why are your thighs not falling prey to my ravenous hands.
Why can't I feel your tightness tonight
The air is hot, just as you like.
But my solitude proves it's not hot enough.

Sleep

I remember when the sun would part the night
and kiss my thoughts to sleep.
I'd spread my lies
allowing truth to have it's way with me
before she slipped into bed.
I can't force her embrace.
She can't be expected to save me
from falling in too deep

Yet
visions of her submission
grew within my swollen head.
All my hope of triumph over her
will bring only failure.
I know that she has seduced me
when my mind starts to sing.

Holding hands
breathing into each other is the only moment
you are pure.

Miss. Directions

The red wine on your lips
Is best paired with me
Kneading a connection
Stir until I boil
Reduce heat. Cover and let the passion simmer
The most tender of meat lies between your hips
Marinated in our chemistry
Lightly seasoned and wrapped tightly in foil
Fresh baked dreams hot from the oven
Miracles melting on your tongue
Future possibilities chopped, mixed and tossed in a bowl
Drizzled with your vinegar and my oil
Crack open the shell and scoop out what you want
Quick! The dinner bell has rung
Take the knife and fillet my sole
Like a radish pulled from the soil
My screams will go unheard
With a mouth full of destiny. Everybody chews
Be sure not to choke

Before you, real lies
You drink her honest tea
